Lazy summer days
Today being Sunday-I should be on the beach-but I'll probably work on the weekend newspaper cryptics instead. I still don't have enough brainteasers or crosswords to work on to keep me happy! What's out there in the way of a new book to buy other than the standard crossword fare?? What does Dave mackey think I should work on-he's always on the beach with a great puzzle book!!

May 25,2007
Long overdue. I wish all of my American readers a happy Memorial Day weekend. Does anyone like Cox and Rathvon. I'd like some comments about the new Mensa cryptic 2 book. This weekend I'll do my standby fix of fraser Simpson with the Globe and Mail puzzle on Saturday.
Who else enjoys that one?? I'm still glad that there are so many puzzle books out there and the majority are still American. Please leave comments one and all.

Post ACPT
I've recovered from the online competing of last month's ACPT. I found the puzzles easy this year?? How did others find them?? Every day I attemt a new weekend warrior on Peter Gordon's editing of the SUN puzzle. Books 12 & 13 are great. The contest in this month's games seems like alot of fun. Pencil puzzles seem to be my forte. Cheers for the upcoming weekend, everyone!!
